My cell phone needs a small switch soldered on the main board does anyone know if there is someone on STX that can do repairs like this?

He fixed my phone yes. He is very nice but the only problem was he quoted me 40 dollars to fix my phone. I provided the part so it was all labor for him.
When I went to pick up the phone he said it was harder than he thought so it was 80. I didn't argue I just wanted my phone back so I thought that was kind of shady.
So my suggestion is if you go there nail down the price up front so there are no surprises. You should even tell him that you heard that sometimes he charges more when the job is done. I want him to know that I am not happy about that!
