Does Verision still charge high roaming fees on stateside accounts.
AT&T does not charge roaming

Yes,
When I came to visit in October, I could get an international plan add-on (wasn't worth it), but only gave me a little bit of data, otherwise your screwed. Although you can text or call with no problem.
