I have been on the beach in Cane Bay and in the Full Moon bar and have seen people getting service using cingular phones. i have asked a friend that goes to Bogie's allot and he tells me he can not get service using his cingular phone out there at all...... Does anyone know of a cell phone company that has a particular phone that will work out there?

Signed,
Moving to Cane Bay soon

For us, cingular works fine UP IN THE BAR AT FULL MOON. We don't get service at ground level on Cane Bay beach. The further west you go out toward Carambola, the less service you get. Carambola gets no cell phone service - I think because it's surrounded by hills.

We were at Carambola for 3 months this year, and received and made Cingular calls with no problems from inside our condo. I also have a US Cellular phone which worked perfectly, apart from the $1.00/minute it cost me.

I was speaking about the beach resort. The condos near the golf course are further south.

OK, that makes sense. Well, now *J* will know Cingular works at the golf course!

My triple band sprint phone works in cane bay and out at divi. I think the new sprint type razor have even more powerful reception but I could be wrong about that.

Sometimes its the quality of your phone and not the service.
