I thought you could get plan quotes online by typing in your zip code (in this case, typing in a St Croix zip). I had my plan when I came down from States, and changed it a few times since I've been here, but I usually go into the store.

I have unlimited talk/text/data with 4g a month for $60, with no contract.

Im still in colorado but i switched to att unlimited talk and text with 2gb of high speed data for 45 a month and also got a 340 area code figured it would be easier to blend in with already having a local number when i arrive

I would highly recommend at&t as your choice. I almost switched to sprint and had a really bad experience right from the beginning coverage is also non reliable according to my husband who has a work phone thru sprint. Never had any problems with at&t and i always seem to get someone that knows more English and that i can understand with at&t. (no offense). Not to mention no problems traveling to other islands with my phone.

Good thinking. Most businesses here have landlines and will sometimes ignore a call-back request from an off island area code - which costs money.

Definitely AT&T over Sprint.

I did the same thing just beware sometimes I did not get phone calls or missed calls I think because the signals got lost I did not have a problem once I got down to the islands tho..

It was after I got here that I realized I would have been better off to take the 1cent iphone from att, as it would have meant I'd have no need for the overpriced, spotty wifi & my dining table would not be full of computer.
