Two of a thousand questions...

What cell phone carrier is more predominant on the islands, especially St. Croix?

Are there any animal shelters where dogs can be adopted?

THANKS!

Hello Brent,

Cell Phone Providers: Sprint, Cingular Wireless, Centennial and Innovative Communication.

Shelters: http://www.cruciancritters.com/ for St. Croix and http://www.humanesocietyofstthomas.com/ for St. Thomas.

Brent, for what it is worth, any emails I have sent to cruciancritters have gone unanswered...if you are on STX, the animal shelter is right off the highway. They always have a large selection of companions to pick from and will even notify you if what you are looking for isn't there but comes in. Spay/neuter is mandatory - I think the adoption fee is $50 for dogs. Very nice folks. Here's the directions from the website:

Take Melvin Evans Highway, east or west, to the VIALCO light. Turn north onto this road. Take the next right (big tree on corner) and the Shelter will be the second drive on your left.
