Guess $4.00 plus a gallon shouldnt be call CHEAP GAS.
However, I think we can all save some $$$$$$ by knowing where the gas is cheaper, and price differences vary now from $4.19 to $4.39 just the 4 stations I will track(One Love, 5 Corners, Lionels Service Station(next to Pueblo), and Budget.
talking to some of the owners of the stations, price difference is because a station that gets a delivery on Monday could be a different rack rate (more or less) than a station that gets a dleivery later in the week when the rack rate changes. Here are the gas prices I will track in my daily route for you all (AS OF 600PM 4/11/12)
One Love $4.19
5 Corners $4.24
Lionel Service Station $4.29
Budget $4.39
Stopping at One Love instead of Budget could save you $2.00 to $3.00 on a 10-15 gallon fillup.
PS Looking for someone traveling by 5 corners daily to start Cheap Gas Prices Sunny island and than maybe one CHEAP GAS PRICES FREDRIKSTED.
Help us all save a little---as more increase are coming and every $1.00 we can save we can spend on something else.

Lucky you don't live in STT as our "Cheap" gas starts at 4.88 for regular and is more for premium and diesel.

Realtively speaking you are right about STX having lower gas prices than STT . However they should be much lower on both islands. With the current Hovensa rack rate of $3.39 for regular, selling @ $4.88 on STT is nothing short of "sticky fingers" aka greedy people, involved in the transportation side and the distributer/STT gas station owner(s) side.

Well well, some station owners finally moved pump price for regular down to prices that more accurately reflect Hovena's $.31/gallon decrease the past two weeks. Shauma in Sunny Isle @$3.90. Across the street it was $3.89 and Gas for Less (across from K-Mart East) is $3.89.
