HELP!!!! I am flying in on Tuesday 4-17-07 to work at Hovensa and need a cheap hotel for 2. Anyone out there who can help me? I have looked on Goggle and all I can find are Resorts and high priced places. Am looking for something that might turn into my home as project lasts 3-6 months. Would need efficiency if possible. Emergency!!!!

Thanks!

You are going to have a problem. The island is full of Hovensa guys. Two sugggestions. First, contact Hovensa or whoever you are working for and see if they have any ideas. Second, get a room for a week or two and look for something permanent after you get here.

There really isn't anything close to Hovensa. I suggest you try either Cane Bay Reef Club or Waves of Cane Bay. Both are on the North Shore and cheap.

You will need a car -- no question.

FYI. Cane Bay Reef Club & The Waves are both full with other refinery people. No room at the inn. You really need to be here to find something. Get on island and ask around. Be sure to ask "locals". Most accomodations are word of mouth. What is your price range? What is your set up...guy/girl, married, pets, what??? Will you have a car?
