Hi everyone,
i was just wondering if anyone knew of the cheapest way i could get to san juan. I heard of a ferry that ran from STT to San Juan but i cannot find any info on it. I know there are small planes that fly from here to there but i will have luggage and last time i did that it would of been cheaper to just fly directly to the states. Any info at all would be helpful.

Thanks.

Has anyone personally taken this ferry? I am thinking about taking it over from PR to STT. Figure it will be More convenient because i will most likely be traveling with surf boards and a suitcase...I already know cape air doesn't fly with boards and American Eagle charges alot for them

I've taken it a number of times. Since this is just a one-day shopping/party trip, they run only when there are enough passengers to make it profitable. Since they make the run from PR to STT early Saturday morning, they usually won't confirm the trip until Thursday or Friday. Secondly, it runs out of Fajardo about 45 miles East of the San Juan airports. Lastly, because this is just a day/party trip they don't want anyone bringing luggage and will charge a high per piece charge for their inconvenience.

Sorry about the no surf boards on Cape Air. They are just to large to carry in the plane.

Hey Scott,

Is San Juan your destination or are you just hoping to find a cheap way there to hook up with a cheap way back to the states? (I wish Jet Blue would come to STT!! Spirit is a waste.)
