Mexican: No. Unfortunately. It kills me. There is a Polli's on St. John, but I was not impressed with Polli's when it was on STT, so I haven't bothered trying the one on STJ.

Chinese: Wok'n'Roll is in Red Hook, across the parking lot from Marina Market. It is pretty good. There are a couple of other places in Havensight and Nisky Center, but if you're on the East End, Wok'n'Roll will do the trick.

On STJ there is a good mexican place.
Margaritas is much better than Polli's in my opinion. If you are looking for cheapest mexican on STJ, go to Polli's but Margaritas has superior food.
There is a "soon come" take out place coming to Starfish but it is probably a month or two away.
On STT: Wok and Roll isnt horrible but dont order the chicken dishes. The chicken is hard and tough but the pork, beef, and veggies are good.
I am sure there are other Mexican and asian places on STT, right?

I heard of a place called Noche-located in Frenchtown that has Mexican type food. I am going by what someone told me-you may want to check it out before dinging there to be sure that it is Mexican-or someone may comment on it.

Noche is Santa Fe food- kinda like Mexican.
Sunset Cantina is gone, but Lechon King is there- Puerto Rican food- kinda like Mexican! 😉
Both are good, but not Tex-Mex.

There are Chinese fast food places everywhere, but I have never liked any of them. I understand there is a Thai restaurant on St Croix, and that would be reason enough to visit!!

Chinese: WoknRoll in Red Hook is good. Avoid the Chinese rest. in Havensight or on the waterfront in Charlotte Amalie.

Mexican: I would not describe NOCHE as Mexican. They have Paella and tapas, more akin to Spanish. Nonetheless, I heartily recommend their tapas and White Sangria. Yum!

Thai: Thai Garden is on ST Croix and is AMAZING. Of course, if I were back in SF or NYC not sure how they would stack up to the competition. But as my mother used to say, "Quando hay hambre, no es mal pan." (Where there is hunger, there is no stale bread).
