Interesting conversation this morning on The Vibe talk show. The farm bill that was passed would make both illegal on the federal level. Does this mean that it would also make it illegal here?

The Animal Cruelty Act was finally passed here in 2005 and includes dog fighting but not cock fighting. The inclusion of cock fighting had held up the bill's passage for many years and was finally dropped as a temporary compromise in order to enable the bill to go through.
