Hi all,
Does St. Croix have a community band? I'd like to get back into practice on my trumpet when I arrive in June and would love to play in such a group.

Hello Ohio Guy,
Check out some of the live music venues and talk to the musicians. You might also contact the UVI music department; I don't know the specifics for St. Croix but on St. Thomas the music dept. has a choir, band and jazz ensemble and while most of the members are students there are also some participants that are community members.

Ohio Guy,
I'm not exactly sure what you would consider a community band. I doubt we have those.. The musicians here are all pretty well aquainted, so once you're in with them, they can help get you placed.
