We're considering purchasing a retirement condo (Point Pleasant) near Smith Bay. Someone here had once made a comment about avoiding that area. When we visited, we didn't see a problem, but that was only for a limited time. Should I have any concerns here more than other areas? Any thoughts are appreciated!

We own a unit at Point Pleasant.....we've owned for 4 years....and have been there often in that period of time.
It's very safe there.
