Asked this in another thread but thought it more appropriate to start a new one. Besides Coakley Bay Condos, does anyone know of other condo complexes on STX that have full generator back-up?

Questa Verde condos has full backup generator - and it always works! I think there are some units for rent, too.

I wouldn't worry about it too much at this stage of the game. You say you're not planning on moving to the islands for a few years and who knows who will or won't have generator backup by the time you decide to take the plunge!

I definitely did think of this--who knows how much will have changed by then?
Of course, our lives may also change faster than I'd thought. Maybe it will only be a year!

On site RO is a plus too. Construction and roof type are also considerations.
