Hello all...
I have been reading posts on this great site for a little over a week now. What a great resource and great group of people! I spent twice as much time trying to google the same info that I found in previous posts here. Thanks for everything I have gained so far. I was wondering if anyone had any connections with construction companies on your beautiful islands? I ask because I currently run a branch office of a construction consulting/management company in New York and have been thinking about a career/geography move for a few years now and am determined to make it happen. I would love to send someone my qualifications to see what is available on the USVI for residential/mixed-use/light commercial Construction management & Project management. I am open to other positions, as well. I am a self starter with years of experience in management and think that I would be a great addition to a new team. If anyone can point me in the right direction, or at least give me the names of some building outfits there, I would be deeply obliged. I am so glad that I found this forum; thanks in advance for any help.

-Chad

There are a few of these types of jobs that were recently posted on Monster.

Robo, I applied to two of them earlier today. Thanks for the info; if you live on the islands, do you know the names of any local builders?

I don't live there - yet! My house in LA is on the market - when it sells - I'm there!

I would also go the the yellow pages (www.viphonebook.com) and look under construction management. Contact those companies, and I am sure they can give you leads too.
