We have a home on Water Island. Our objective this year is to replace doors and windows of our main home/upper level - PT/wood construction. Replace 6ft. existing sliders (bedrooms) and 8ft slider (great room) with floor to ceiling double hung windows. Install a "standard" door to provide access to the wrap-around porch from 3 of the 4 bedrooms as well as the great room which opens inward to the room. Replace windows in the Kitchen & remaining 4th bedroom with double hung windows - same opening size / structure, but double hung windows. We normally do the work ourselves but, as its turned out, "life" may have screwed up our plans to do the project ourselves in the targeted timeframe.

Can anyone recommend a contractor(s) who would provide services including Scope of Work on Water Island as described below? Please send a PM to me if you have recommendations or if you're a contractor on STT or WI that is interested in providing a bid to perform the work:

(1) Measurement , design, order, receipt and installation of proposed new doors & double hung windows (existing 6 ft. sliders in bedrooms to be replaced with inward opening standard door & floor to ceiling double hung window). Will require re-configuration of opening from (3) bedrooms' access to the porch.
(2) Measurement, design, order, receipt and installation of proposed of new door & windows for Great Room (existing 8 ft. slider in great room leading out to the porch - replace with floor to ceiling window with 'standard' - or other ideas are welcome to increase the westward view and light- door leading out to the porch) and Kitchen. Will require re-configuration of opening from Great Room's access to the porch. No modification to the Kitchen window "footprint" but replacement of existing window with double hung window.

I would prefer a "turn-key" general contractory to manage all of the work but will be willing to consider alternatives to the ordering and delivery of materials.
