Say it in Crucian! A Complete Guide to Today's Crucian for Speakers of Standard English (2008) is out of print and Amazon.com is asking insane prices for used copies. You can go to the Virgin Islands Dictionary page on Facebook and get a pdf of the book for $5.95.

Trying to figure out the language with a book will be hard as they leave out words, and many times speak as if they had a mouth full of mush. I can't detect a word to try and find its meaning.
Most except for the most illiterate can switch it on or off. If they want you to be able to understand them they can.
