Does anyone have any information or contact person in Human Resources at the Cruzan rum distillery on St. Croix? Does anyone know how they post available jobs?
We have tried the Internet and haven't been able to come up with anything. I've also done a search on this board to no avail, (but did read some interesting posts in 2004 about bad rum and about St. Croix trying to secede and create its own territory).
My husband did industrial maintenance for Kraft for 7 years and that is the type of job he would be looking for at Cruzan.

They will probably tell you that the jobs are in FL or KY as 85 percent Cruzan Rum is shipped to the mainland to be bottled.

Thanks a bunch. I didn't realize how much was not bottled on St. Croix. Interesting.

Do you speak any Swedish? Cruzan is owned by the Swedish government.

Cruzan Rum is owned by a Swedish Company, I forget the name of it right now, but I believe this company makes and distributes Absolut Vodka and several other premium liquor brands. It is NOT owned by the Swedish govt., anymore than Volvo (Ford) and Saab(GM) are, two other well known Swedish products. The Nelthropp family still operates Cruzan Rum, although they no longer own it. In addition, while a good deal of their product is bottled in Florida, as a previous poster mentioned, all of it is distilled, blended, and aged in St. Croix

My previous comment stands. According to this statement on V&S Groups web page Cruzan rum is owned by the Swedish government. See below.
