I enjoy reading the E-Edition each morning.
It appears that now there is a subscription fee.

I noticed that this morning as well. I have really enjoyed the e-edition myself. That is a bummer.

lost mine too. But this was the first time that you could get the entire paper without having to buy a subscription. Previously you could get a news outline and some articles the evening of or day after publishing for free, and had to pay to get the actual entire paper then too.
sure wish we could get the Avis, I would even pay for that one.

hmmmmm...This is my evil twin thinking out loud ....I wonder if one person bought a subscription, if the password could be used by multiple people on different access points?
Maybe not simultaneously, but.......

No. Passwords are linked to IP addresses.

Interesting. So I won't be able to get on the home computer and my smart phone (if using data plan). Or my tablet when travelling. That pretty much kills the advantage of having an on line account.

I'm not a tecchy so don't know how that works but assume it does through the miracles of modern technology with everything being linked together. And I may well be wrong about the access now I've thought it out a little further. Send me your Snooze password and I'll give it a try! 😀

Awwww, I was hoping you would send me yours!

But seriously, I might have to subscribe. Someone used to scan the papers and post on FB but that was quashed.

At least, previously, one could share a link.
Not an option, now. Bummer!

Here's what John Oliver has to say about newspapers. Who will investigate corruption without professional journalists? Bottom line - buy the paper.

Professional journalism is hard to come by these days.

I pay $6 month for NY Times digital subscription. I had a subscription a few years ago at a much higher rate, so cancelled it. They sent me offer after offer, until they finally found a rate I was willing to pay.
