I'm from STX but live in MD and recently came back for summer vacay. Long story short. Tooth hurts! Can someone recommend a dentist who actually does work well?

I've only dealt with cleanings and X-rays.
Dr. Van Heckman is good, but slightly expensive and may be hard to get an appointment with. That's why I left him.
Dr. Ross can probably get you in quickly. He's good and fast but sometimes painful when he's rooting around. I like him for price and availability.

We use Dr Fraebel located in the professional building behind Golden Rock, one of the best I've been to.

We really like Drs. Kenses and Buska, but I don't know about the availability. I also second Dr. Ross -- quick to get in. He actually put in my Invisalign yesterday (yes, on a Saturday afternoon!) 🙂

Before I left the islands a few months ago, VanHeckman was my dentist and he worked on 1 tooth in 4 visits, costed me a lot and I still had pain. Went to my new doctor in MD and he worked on that same tooth in 1 visit and I had NO pain from that tooth. He wanted to know what kind of dentists we have in the islands because the work wasn't completed correctly. I am trying to stray from VanHeckman, will check out the others recommended.
