Dive buddy? (STX)

My dive gear has been sitting in the closet for far too long. My schedule is all over the place, so it's hard to coordinate with my friends who dive, especially when you factor in colds, air travel, out of town guests, and all the other things in addition to work that keep people from diving! Sure, I could go with one of the many excellent dive shops around here, but it seems silly to pay for a shore dive every time when I have all of my own gear, right down to the air in the tank.

I'd love to get out and just do some shore dives (unless you have a boat!), maybe once or twice a week. It would be nice if you are fairly experienced. I've been NAUI certified since 2002, but there was a 6-year gap when I didn't dive (too busy, lived in the desert, etc.). I don't need any hand-holding, and I've never been a burden to those I've been diving with, but I'm not sure that I'm ready to take on diving alone with a brand new diver.

Please PM me or just reply here!

Oh no!! I thought you were gone already -- ages ago! Maybe I got your leaving mixed up with Annie's. So sorry! (But hey, the phone does work both ways! 🙂 )

Sorry, I didn't call, I was too busy diving with others. You would have been more than welcome to joined, but since I didn't need to find a buddy I guess I forgot you:-( sorry!
Will be back the end of Sept!

No worries... I really didn't have a ton of free time until recently anyway -- was spending too much time off island!
