We have a 1964 VW Sandshark Dune Buggy that we have registered and plated for the road here in Michigan, and were planning on bringing down to stx when we move. It is street legal here and was wondering if anyone had any idea if we would have problems with it passing inspection down there? I really don't want to ship it if we aren't going to beable to drive it.

As long as you have all of the necessary safety items (seat belts, windshield wipers, horn, emergency brake, etc.), it should pass no problem. And, if itdoesn't, they will tell you what needs to be improved and you could have a local mechanic take care of it.

Hello Leeann,
Call DMV, ask for the supervisor and ask them. I believe the number is (340)778-2211 & ask for Motor Vehicles.
