I've been reading to board for a while, hard to believe but my one way flight leaves on Tuesday. I have a place in STT for the first month. I'm going to start looking for a 1 Bedroom apt. preferebly on STJ or on the East end of STT. I have a boxer that I can't leave in the States. I know its going to be hard to find a decent place that will accept a 50# dog. I'm going to start looking with an island trader on Thursday. Anybody have any other idea's where to look or know a good realator on STJ. Thanks for the help. Mark

Hi Mark,
When you ask for a realtor on STJ, are you wanting to rent or buy? There is only one "long term property rental management" comopany on the island. I don't have the name/number with me right now but I can forward it on to you if it's rental property you are looking for. You also need to look at Connections in Cruz Bay. You will find numerous rental options and might be lucky enough to find something pet friendly. Good luck.

Sorry, I'm looking to rent. Does Island Trader only list rentals for STT? That would be great if you could find the name of the company on STJ. Thanks again. Mark

I'll get back with you by tomorrow morning on the name. I need to ask my husband when he gets home. He leaves Wednesday morning. I have to stay here (along with my 8 year old) until later this Fall and wrap things up. We found our new home through island friends but I've heard that right now there are many choices on the bulletin board at Connections. I would check it out soon. This is the perfect time to possibly find something that way. Once October hits things will be more difficult to find.
