Donating Books - STX

Any advice on donating books in fair to good condition would be appreciated. Would hate to throw away and prefer to donate to a charity instead. Mostly hard cover novels left behind by former tenants/vacation renters that have accumulated. Definitely don't wan to bother trying to sell. Thanks!
