As some have heard I have officially broke ground here in STX for the first monolihtic dome home in the USVI's. I do intend to go in to business to help others build their own domes. This particulor complex will have a large double dome 4 bedroom/2 bath home,(1709 sq ft) and a guest house mini dome (490 sq ft.). Costs are still being sorted out but I feel these can be built for around $50 less per sq ft.then (normal?) homes here. They are hurricane/fire proof and cool easily. Breezes funnel through or A C works faster. The time table is still on island time.

Hi Tedd,
Your dome home idea sounds great. I am married to an architect and we are making a PMV to STX next month. I can remember when the concept of dome homes came to N.C. (we live in Charlotte) many years ago. Where will your business be located on STX?
