If you like Orange Creamsicle, vanilla rum with orange soda. Also, if you like it frozen, mix vanilla ice cream , vanilla rum, and orange soda.

Another favorite of mine, which I was surprised when first trying it, banana rum and coke.

Happy post 4th of July rum tasting.

I agree 151 is pretty potent! But it sure does the trick and give you that wonderful island buzz!

Just remembered this while visiting with an old friend a couple weeks ago. Several years ago, when I was a bartender at Molly Molones, on STT, we had a situation we couldn't figure out....People were complaining about their rum and cokes. When I wasn't working and had a dark and diet (gold cruzan and diet coke), I actually kept sending them back and complaining myself. Tasted like "whiskey", or way too strong, or the bartender must have poured a different rum, whatever...well turns out that somewhere along the way in the bottling process, there had been a mistake made and the regular Cruzan Gold (2 year) was actually 151. Made for some unusual happy hours. 2 drinks and people were stumbling all over the place. LOL
