I curently live in St.Thomas and am having trouble finding out if we offer training or a school in massage therepy. I was wondering if maybe you could help me find out if we do. It would be helpfull and more convienent to get the training here then in the states.

Hello Liz,
Can not say that I know of a masage training 'school' in the USVI, or if any of the massage/spa techs are qualified to teach you on an assistant type thing toward certification. What you might do is look in the yellow pages for Spas/Massage and call.. Sugar Bay has a Spa, Ritz does also and I believe Frenchmans Reef - ask to speak to one of the massuse and ask them. See if they know anything. With so many online courses and distance learning - perhaps look online and see if there are any programs where you can studey material and work as an assitant for a qualified massuse and work toward your own certification. Just ideas - really not sure on this one.
