I am looking for recommendations for an electrician to do some work on a house, such as relocating and splitting out an electrical panel and running new cable from the meter to the panel. I am familar with Owen Johnson and Meinrad Jagrup, who do fine work, and I have a phone book too, but am looking for personal recommendations for other electricians who might be a bit less expensive. Any ideas?

We always use Jimmy Adams but no idea how his prices compare, with the exception of using O Johnson when we had an emergency and JA was getting married. Found OJ pretty responsive but thought he was quite expensive.

Jimmy did a lot of work for me at the Hotel. He's pretty good, but is usually pretty booked up. Call him and see.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will give him a call this week. Even if he can't do the job, he might be able to recommend someone else.
