Household electricity bills skyrocket – USATODAY.com

This is an article today regarding rates across the US. VI is not listed but you get the drift........or shaft!

But I still like the TV info's......

So what's new? Our rates have always been the highest of any state or territory under the US flag and nothing here disputes that or adds to the mix.

The City of Riverside, in California, generates its own electtricity and operates separate from Southern California Edison. Our rate is $.08 per kw, with other little charges here and there, but is very affordable.

I have to laugh at how I used to waste electricity up in the states.
Living here has certainly changed my habits.
For one thing, now I'd freeze in a 72 degree air conditioned house.
