Yes John We have housing and employment in the Virgin Islands.

If you click on search (top of the page) you will find thousands and thousands of posts on that very subject.

Good luck in your search.

john steinhauser, your best bet initially is to go to the first bold announcement at the top of this page submitted by "Islander" who is the board moderator. You'll find a plethora of information which will steer you in the right direction and THEN you can go to "search" for more specifics. Once you have done all that basic research, you can come back to the board with more specific questions but I think you'll probably find so much info that the only thing left to do is a PMV! Cheers! Be not deterred but do your homework well...

Hello there! Apparently, you have had a wealth of employment experiences, however, looking at your collective skills (hard skills, soft skills and diversity of skills used both in life and at work).....what type of employment would you like to look for? Members of this board have been wonderful in helping people with names/numbers, etc., but again, until you do a Pre-Move Visit (PMV) you are not likely to get far unless you are a nurse or a teacher.

If you give us some sense of what you would like to do that would be new and exciting to you, there really is not starting place. For a friend of mine, watching TV is exciting, though not a splinter skill that might help much in the employment arena. If you have always loved gardening, that is a different story.

Will look for any updates,

Dan

In a number of years as a Realtor here, I've seen people move down who make a success in their own field and many others who find new careers here. In both groups the one reason for success appears to be a desire to be here, to be flexible and to enjoy a new way of life.

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have about housing.
