E (the Entertainment channel), channel 48 on St. John, disappeared this weekend. It doesn't show up on the cable guide, and when we punch in 48 on the remote, the channel does not change. Does anyone know if Innovative stopped carrying E, or is this something that only I am experiencing?
Thanks all!

OMG!!!!

I live on STT -- I just checked and it seems to be gone!!!

How dumb and crazy is that?

E is a great channel and I will sorely miss it. I will hold onto the faint hope that this is a very temporary situation.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Innovative's financial problems...........................................

Glad it's not just me, and I also hope it's not a permanent thing. Maybe, if I gather the strength and courage to deal with Innovative, I will call and ask about it...maybe 🙂

I noticed last week that E was no longer listed in my Tivo menu but if I key in number 48 it's still there. I hope it doesn't disappear as I'm addicted to that bad show with Hugh Hefner and his lady friends!

Strange. We still have E! here on STX's Innovative Cable, where it's Channel 36. My big cable WHOA came a few weeks ago when STX cable "lost" its Channel 9 Fox affiliate and Fox went dark for about a week before the new local Fox affiliate went on the air It was at least another week before the new Fox Channel registered in the Innovative channel and program guides. In the switch, we lost Fox news at 10 pm (more conservative than I like, but still an alternative source of info to CNN) but gained Little House on the Prairie reruns. Oh goody.

The last affiliate change I recall was for NBC about 18 months ago, when Dr. Phil went away and Ellen showed up. Not sure what was the loss/gain on that one. *snicker*

Good luck with getting your Hef and bimbo show back from someone who also has her secret (or not so) entertainment outlets. 🙂

Possible good news regarding E for St. Thomas-St. John Innovative customers...I checked their web site yesterday, and they have E now listed as channel 135, with a little star next to it indicating this channel requires a digital converter. Well, apparently I have a digital converter, because I went home last night and checked, and E is indeed now on channel 135. Kind of a weird move, considering I don't get any other channels in the 100s, but whatever...as long as they don't take away my guilty pleasure, I'm happy.

Thanks for the info Andrea,

I don't think I have digital, but I will check and see whether or not I currently have access to E.

My guilty pleasure is E True Hollywood Story BTW............................................

Best,
Mell
