Given some of the shortcomings I've read about life in the USVI, it sounds like there are many entrepreneural niches just waiting to be filled. Are there unusual impediments to starting and running small businesses there that aren't widely publicized?

On this board, go to the home page. In that area you will see a link to business, (in blue). That section of the website gives a great deal of info with links to the government websites as well as business licsensing and EDC websites. Upon looking at the info, I think it is just a little more work and will take a lot longer to be licsensed to do business in the VI than it was to do so in Ohio.
