Explosion at WAPA

07:20 this morning, Friday. Explosion. Fireball. About 100 meters west of WAPA towers.

Any reports?

Interesting. Someone at work asked if I heard it from Hermon Hill. She lives at Long Reef and felt the aftershock. I can't wait to hear what it was.

Well, no matter what it was I'll bet our WAPA bills go up...AGAIN! I'm sure WAPA will need us, the consumers, to pay for repairs. ugh!

It was pretty intense. I witnessed it from my deck having a cup of Joe. No power surge or outtage..that happened later in the day.

I was told Thursday night's outage was caused by a car taking out a utility pole near the gas station at the Tide Village turn off.

The explosion was 50's & 100's busting out of Hodges wallet.
