Hi everyone!
I've been reading a lot of your posts for a while now because I was looking to move to St. Thomas. I feel like I know you! HaHa! Instead of moving their (too many obigations at home) my daughter and I are going their for about six weeks over the summer. I'm a young(24), first grade teacher and a single mom of a four year old. So I obviously need something cheep! In the past few months I've called and emailed around but couldn't find anything reasonable. All I need is a SAFE private room with a bathroom, little fridge, microwave, TV and access to the beach for much needed R&R! I'm looking to spend around $700-$1100.
HELP!!

OOPS!!! I just realized that I used the wrong "their". I meant "there"! And I teach the next generation!!! Yikes!

If you are looking for R&R go to St Croix, it is much cheaper, much more laid back, & more conducive to an unhurried pace.

Do you mean $700-$1,000 for a WEEK or for the whole 6 weeks. If the later, you're gonna have trouble finding anything for that price, even in summer.
