Ferry Service San Juan to STT

Does anyone know of any kind of ferry service and the cost therefor between Puerto Rico and St. Thomas? I frequently see cheap round trip fares between Atlanta and San Juan. Today, the fare is $120 ROUND TRIP! I'm thinking if the ferry service isn't too time consuming or too much hassle, I could do something like every now and then and not have to burn Skymiles to get to/from STT. Thanks for any info anyone has.

The only ferry service between PR and STT is run every two weeks from Fajardo. You would be better off just booking a plane ticket from SJU to STT on either American Eagle, Cape Air, Caribbean Sun, Seaborne Airlines (seaplane).

Thanks. After I do that, I'm back to the cost of a direct flight in/out of STT! So, I guess the $120 round trip is only a bargain if one intends to visit Puerto Rico and not STT. I'll save myself the hassle and just continue to fly in/out STT directly. Thanks for the information.
