Moving onto our boat in Tortola in January...need sofa, chair, table etc. Where in Tortola or St Thomas can we shop for furniture or is it better to buy in the states and have it delivered? Also any advice on best place to find a TV?

Have you considered shopping in Puerto Rico? If you are looking for boat supplies, Fajardo Puerto Rico has a West Marine store and Wal-Mart is across the street from it. Humacao and Ceiba have marinas and there is a SAM's Club and also a Wal-Mart in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Prices are pretty comparable to the US. Have no clue how you will transport from said locations to your boat unless maybe you rent a car or talk to the locals at the docks who probably have contacts for you.
