It's me, Kyle F again,

Sometimes I think I spend more time on this site then I do with school work.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone had an idea if its very hard to find work in the hospitality field in the off season.
I will be movin to STX June 2007 with a degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration and great work experience so I hope that might put me ahead of the game with any luck. Any info. will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone,
Kyle F

Finding a job will not be that hard, You will have to be here to see people face to face. You might have to work part time at more than one job. And you will probably have to take something "entry level" and work your way up.

Also, unless you are very lucky, you won't be able to afford to live on your own at first, you'll need roommates to help ith the rent.

Good luck.

Linda J,

Thank you very much for the info., its nice to know that I have a degree in a field that is very prevalent in USVI. I kind of expected I would need a roommate but i have a little cushion ue to a few extra funds I have available to me. In reguards to finding a roommate do you have any advice on that subject?

Thanks again

Kyle F

Sorry, Ive had the same roommate for 38 years, 39 on November 22.

Again, word of mouth is the best. Find out where young folks hang out and go there. Strike up conversations and mention you need a roommate. My guess is you'll get lots of feedback.
