For the southsiders (STT) who won't leash their dogs

I'm sorry to hear of your tragic loss. But this is the first time I have heard of a cat on a leash.

Thanks. We brought our cat outside with us on the back porch about 3 times a week when he wanted to be outside. We live in the middle of a jungle so if we just let him run free he would have been attacked by something in there a long time ago. We don't leash him and then just leave him out there, my wife and son were outside with him when my wife went in the house to check on dinner. We'd never even seen dogs on our property in the 10 months we'd lived there so it never even crossed our minds. It happened in literally under 10 seconds. Of course in retrospect if he was not leash he could have likely gotten away, but if we let him roam free he might have been killed by something out in the jungle a long time before. We're lucky that our 5-year old was not mauled as well.
