Hola - I need some framed artwork for decorating some bedrooms (primary larger ones for above the bed). Anyone know where on STT I can hit to look for some (I'm on STJ). Theme is modern, also beach/tropics photo prints would work too.

Thanks!

Try Mango Tango.

2 locations. One at Al Cohen's Mall on Weymouth Rhymer highway. Upper level between surveyor's office and the genealogy library. Second location at Yacht Haven Grande.

Isn't there a store in Mongoose Junction that sells art?
What about the store next to Lime Inn? On the right as you enter.
Sorry. Can't remember the names.

There was a studio in town in Creque's Alley, the one closet to Green
House and another in Palm Passage but it's been awhile since I've been in town so don't know if they are still there.

I have found St Thomas Gallery to have the widest variety of local art -
http://gallerystthomas.com/home

I say this, however-------absolutely nothing wrong with Mango Tango!, they have framed many pieces of me for years and do a wonderful job.

It would benefit you to visit both places

Mango Tango no longer at Yacht Haven Grande. Only at Al Cohen's Plaza.

There's a framer/gallery on the way to the Ritz. Color of Joy. Number should be in the book.

Wow, didn't realize Mango Tango was no longer at YHG. I can imagine it's hard to sustain the rents there in this economy. If you have a favorite artist, they will usually also sell thru their websites.
Both Mango Tango and Color of Joy offer framing and do excellent work.

If you come on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, go to the Humane Society's thrift shop (open 11-3). Their new campus is off Weymouth Rhymer, close to Mango Tango, right across the street from Market Square East where CostULess, etc. are located. There are some amazing finds there!
