I know this is more of a "Classifieds" item, and I posted there, too. However, we found this adorable little guy last night: adopt me! and really need to find him a good home. We already have a cat and two dogs, one of which does not play well with others. Please PM me if you're interested in taking him. He's super sweet and friendly!

That pup looks well socialized, Lisa. It could be someone's lost pet.

I just finished walking our whole neighborhood, and no one's ever seen him before. My next call is to the shelter, as long as they can assure me that he won't be put down!

No return call yet from the shelter... My husband would prefer that we keep the puppy and get rid of our 3-year-old salt and pepper female miniature schnauzer, instead. Any takers?? 😛

I got through to the shelter on the first try. Call Gretchen Sherrill at 514-6326. The shelter will scan for a chip and put out flyers to see if anyone is looking for their puppy. You can always adopt the pup if no one claims it.

Do the right thing and get the pup to the shelter.

Popflops, I thought you were going to say your husband wanted to get rid of your 3 year old kid! 😮

roadrunner -- too funny!! But he great news is the owner of the puppy found one of the fliers I made and just came to pick him up. My kids are devastated, as he had already become "one of the family", but it was obviously meant to be. Thanks for reading, and please remember to spay and neuter your pets.

Thank you Popflops for "fostering" this lost soul. Kuddos to you for all your hard work in finding the puppy's owner.

Thanks, Lucky! He was a delight to have, even though we only got to know him a little while.
