Frequent Boat travel between USVI and BVI

If you live in the USVI and want to travel quite often to the BVI for dining or entertainment is there a way to allow you to sail in and out of the BVI without having to stop at customs each time? I know our boat captain can obtain a 30 day permit for cruising in and out of British waters, but it looks to me as though you must check in each time at British Customs in the BVI or at Cruz Bay or Charlotte A. Also How does British customs handle the influx of requests around new years other than long lines and long delays.

1. No.
2. Obviously there's more traffic in high season but they run a pretty smooth operation year round.

For clearing private or chartered boat to BVI the captain has to clear in and out every time. If the BVI visit is short you can clear in and out during initial contact with BVI customs and immigration. I got 5 days clearance in/out during initial contact.

Returning to STT or STJ is very simple if you participate in CBP SVRS program. Look it up on CBP.gov.

If you don't participate in SVRS, you have to clear into US in person with entire crew presented in person to US CBP office during business hours. Can be as frustrating as BVI.
