Hello everyone,
I will be moving to STT in August and have completed my PMV. At the time of my visit I thought I'd be shipping all my belongings via container, but am thinking that the USPS is just as good (and cheaper). Whether or not I can find reasonable prices on furniture will help me decide.
What prices are you seeing (and where) for a full/queen size mattress?

There are several furniture stores on STT, as well as several other interesting sources of furniture here. As far as bedding goes, there is one store in particular that stands out in my mind. The name is Furniture Inn, they are located at Lockhart Gardens and they seem to have a good selection of bedding. Perhaps you can talk to them about this and get some pricing. I bought a very lovely mirror there a few months ago. They are super duper nice people. Here's the phone number:
