What is the gay and lesbian scene like there? Are there any bars, clubs, or other hang out spots? Are there any areas on the island that are predominatly gay or lesbian?

There are a couple of hotels that are known as gay/lesbian properties. The Cormorant hotel west of Christiansted and Sandcastles on the Beach south of Frederiksted. I believe both advertise to the gay/lesbian market.
