Not planning a trip anytime soon and wanted to send some rum back to friends. Not the hi-powered stuff, just the fruity kind. Already encountered roadblocks at the PO and UPS. I am seeking a way to do this. Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

Have the friends come visit and take back 6 bottles each.

Give your friends a gift certificate to a liquor store near them, and they can go pick up the bottles from the store.

Even in my small home town (>4000 people) back in Ohio, the "main" grocery store there sells all of the flavored Cruzan rums. So if that small town grocery store has them, Cruzan Rum should be available in most states at a grocery store.
