I was interested in this until I noticed nobody will give a $/sf cost, or maybe I missed it. Those on STT may want to read thru the FB stuff and see if there's anyone you know involved in the business . . . I've been thinking about the purportedly hurricane proof foam dome houses, but the cost I recall was far less than these seem to be.

Business Insider magazine article cited above did quote a price on the small 576sf GigaHouse kit (circa US$24,000). Of course, that's a stateside price.

Dome houses are fine, although they have limited appeal. Foam domes coated with GigaCrete plasters are extant.

Importantly, GigaCrete PlasterMax is a fire-rated plaster coating code-approved to replace gypsum board over EPS. Only plaster coating I can recall with that particular distinction. Both StuccoMax (3500psi) and PlasterMax (10,000psi) can be applied directly over EPS foam -- one coat, two pass.
