Hey everyone, I'm looking to book a vacation rental for the last full week of July for my apartment hunt.

Does anyone know of any affordable, clean rentals that have kitchens or kitchenettes? I'd like to save some $$ by cooking my meals. Thanks!

St. Thomas. I think from 50 - 100 a night is affordable. Thanks!

Um, I've only been to St. Thomas once, but I think everyone on here would agree with me that anything you can find for under $100 a night is not someplace you would ever want to step foot inside of. The cost of living here is super high -- St. Thomas even more so than St. Croix. Unfortunately, you just have to get used to it if you really want to live here!

Crystal Palace - Miller Manor - Island View ---- no kitchens---------- - a place like StoneHouseVI - or maybe some other VRBO studios.

mgpilot: I think I don't agree! I've only been here, off and on, since 1962 so perhaps I don't have as complete a understanding of St Thomas as you have acquired from your one visit.

honiscb: I'm not sure what is going on with this board lately, but you sure seem to be taking a beating, mainly from St Croix residents, on every subject you touch on. I've sent you a PM.

We have small studios at Pineapple Village that rent for $95 nightly or $600 for the week. Clean, renovated 2 years ago, poolside and off street parking. http://www.vrbo.com/216007
