Go Grandma Anne! Her Red Hat Ladies helmet rocks.

Sure wish that my Mom, an avid Red Hatter who passed away last June, were here to cheer her on with me. Anne is doing all women proud by reminding us that you don't have to be a teenage twig to pursue your dreams or successfully take on great challenges.

ETA (edited to add) should she ever want it, I think I want turn over my HipCrip moniker to Anne because being a six time Olympian who has made an incredible recovery from a severe closed head injury makes her one of the hippest crips around. ~bowing to Grandma's incredible level of cool~

I just read that Grandma Luge crashed during a training run and apparently broke her wrist. It is not yet clear whether she will still be able to compete.

Grandma, we are still rooting for you -- and now more than ever!!!!

Hi Terry,

Yes -- St. Thomas. I linked to her website above. It is very interesting and amusing :).
