Good Afternoon Everyone!

What a great place this message board is. My boyfriend has learned a lot of useful information from this board.

We are visiting St. Croix the week of the 16th to hopefully find our next place of residence. We are really excited about our trip. We have been researching and planning for the last 5 months and hopefully plan to move within 2 years. We have a long list of properties to look at when we get there. (homes, land and unfinished homes)

Too bad we wont be down in time for the get together. I have found a couple of things going on the week we will be there. I think we are going to eat at the Fort Christian Brew Pub one night (any reviews for that place?) and I also found out that there is Sunset Jazz happening on Friday night.

Thanks for any input and I hope to become more involved in the board.

Hey Melissa,
I was at the Brew Pub the other night and the food and beer were great. Go for the pale ale....

Melissa,

If you like jazz, Sand Castle on the Beach in F'sted also features live jazz on Saturday nights between 7-9:30-ish. Call 800.524.2018 to see what's going on when you're here.

My hubby and I stayed in the room right under their bar/restaurant for the first few weeks after moving here, and we love that place. They are right on the beach, very pet friendly, and you just can't beat Irma, Sonia, Patricia, Lucy, Robert , and the other SandCastle owners/staff when it comes to being warm, friendly, and helpful. (Can you believe they built and installed a series of wheelchair ramps jso I could stay there when I was trying to find a place that could house a HipCrip, her hubby, and three cats!) They've done a lot of upgrades since/while we were there, too -- the place seems to be really thriving under these owners.

You're well on your way with the big move -- come on down and join us as soon as you can.

HC

Thanks for the info HipCrip! We will have to check that place out! Wow, sounds like they are great people to accomodate you with the ramps. And they let you have your 3 cats! We have one dog that we will be bringing with us, but I hope to adopt another when we get there. : )

Good luck with your move to STJ. I hope you have a smooth transition. I am so excited about the trip. I may not want to come back to NC knowing that winter will be here before we know it!

I hope everyone has a great day!!!!
