I sent you a PM that gives you Barbara's (painted murals at Lobster Reef) phone number.

Chock,
Word is out and people that don't read this board are starting to ask "have you heard anything about Franky's opening back up?"
"I heard someone is planning to start a new restaurant"

FYI

Just for the record since I know Frankie and talk to him on a weekly basis; he is not going to Salt River since the new owners want "whomever would want to run a restuarant there" to build a new building closer to the beach with cost being approx $500M. The new owners want to dismantle the current vacated restuarant and relocate the marina office there. As for where Frankie used to be -- a guy from the states (Cris) is planning to have a restuarant called Above The Cliff. As to when it will open for business, his target is August 2010.

Jumbie, You hit the nail on the head. We will reopen the Frankie's Lobster reef location. Let say we will be a bar who will focus on a good time and I just happen to like good food. I have a Partner in this venture, you'll notice him on by the name on the board Jerrydcs. Good guy.

Salt river marina was on my list. I really like Whiz at the dive shop but the deal could not be worked out and I feel I was very lucky in finding the location I did, thanks to one particular Bar owner in Frederickstead. It really was a working vacation, more work than play, but it is coming together. I want to bring a little change to the island with this venture, not your ordinary bar / restaurant owner.LOCAL change is coming and I can't make it work without folks like you. I am not coming to get rich quick or sell out because it is a success and make a fast buck. St Croix will be home,my final stop in this venture called life. I offer no false pretenses,my word is my way of life. Time soon come.

Above the Cliff was the original name back in 96 when it first opened. Were just bringing it back. You guy please keep the info coming. What would you like to see ?
