Thanks, I always appreciate the update!

Question, who`s up for a co-op?
Any Ideas?
The retail mark-ups are really getting out of hand(and don`t truly reflect costs.

Dun,

I am an aging hippie with more time than money these days. Would love to consider a co-op situation. Are we thinking of ordering in bulk from say someone like Merchant's Market? We would need a central location, money up front, volunteers to break up the orders (I can do once a week). My place is way too out of the way.

Frozen products would have to be dealt with differently than fresh and staples.

But heck yes! I am in.

Pamela

BTW - where is Plaza Extra? I've seen Cost-u-less, and Pueblo, and made the mistake of going to Food Town.
We wandered into another market today on 82, next to the welcome mountain pharmacy - across the street from the softball field??

Thanks!

Plaza Extra, Sion Farm is next door to Cost-U-Less, in the United Shopping Plaza. Plaza Extra West is out toward F'sted on Centerline (route 70). The market across from the softball field is Schooner Bay Market, great for fresh meat, deli items, etc., but even more expensive than Food Town (usually).

You will find that a weekly grocery shopping trip with usually incorporate 2 or 3 (or more) stores. Price differences can be hugh, but it's not like one particular store is more expensive on everything. It's kind of random.

thanks Juanita - now I just have to remember my why back to Sion Farm...:$)
We wandered into Schooner Bay Market today (got a tasty slice of cake for my sweet-toothed husband) and checked the advertisements on the doors for a car.
but the one we went into the other day was NEXT to that - in the next building heading West.
