Does anyone know of a group health insurance plan that is available in St. Thomas for someone working in the massage therapy field? I have searched the web and could not find any plan available in St. Thomas. Also contacted The Massage Therapy Assn. who deals with 2 insurance companies, but again, they are not available to someone working in St. Thomas. Also, does anyone know of an honest mechanic/dealer. Looking to buy an island car for around $1,000. Many thanks for your help.

Kathy: Are you asking about health insurance or malpractice insurance? In either case, yes, your options are limited. You might want to contact one of the local insurance companies or talk to one of the local massage therapists.

EastEnder: It's the health insurance. Thank you for the advice of looking at local insurance company; didn't think of that. My daughter will have to ask other massage therapists if they have ins. coverage. I thought I'd put the question out on this board for her as she doesn't have a computer. Thanks again.

As far as I know, Cigna is the major health care provider. That is what we have thru my husband's job.

Kathy: Be careful. This is a different Cigna than stateside. The insurance rules are really a mess. Look through the phone book and call a few insurance agents and talk to them- there are only a few companies that are allowed to sell insurance here so no competition...
